Overview

This punch-down tool is suitable for low-voltage construction, capable of terminating modules, and patch panels. It primarily secures the wire core into the corresponding IDC slots of the module; the IDC slots can penetrate the PE insulation, ensuring tight contact between the IDC and the copper core.

Functions

  1. Termination Function
    Using the blade on the network punch-down tool, the wire core is secured into the IDC slots on the module. A clicking sound indicates that the wire core has been successfully terminated.
  2. Cutting Function
    The termination process uses the blade-end of the punch-down tool. During termination, the blade, aided by the spring's impact force and action, cuts off the excess wire core.

Product Maintance

  1. Upon unpacking, check if the respective parts of the product have been applied with anti-rust oil.
  2. Try to avoid exposing the tool to liquids (sweat, water, beverages, etc.) during use.
  3. When working at heights, make an effort to protect the tool from falling.
  4. If possible, apply anti-rust oil to the tool regularly.
  5. After using the tool, it should be stored in a protective environment such as a toolbox.
  6. The blade surface is treated for rust prevention, but it is not 100% rust-proof; maintenance is still necessary.
